B. Wistar Morris, Vice President, is an attorney and business professional with extensive experience in financial management, estate planning, and philanthropy. After graduating from law school, Wistar joined the Washington, D.C. office of Fulbright & Jaworski as an associate in the international practice group. He left Fulbright in 1992 to co-found Vega Group Limited, an international consulting firm focused on helping companies develop and implement successful export strategies. In 1998, Wistar joined the University of Virginia’s Miller Center of Public Affairs as Executive Director and General Counsel of the Miller Center Foundation, where he directed a successful $7.5 million campaign to expand the nonpartisan center dedicated to the study of the American presidency. In 2003, he served as program director of the Miller Center’s National Commission on Federal Election Reform, co-chaired by Presidents Jimmy Carter and Gerald Ford. In 2004, Wistar assumed the day-to-day management authority of the Miller Center as associate director. Wistar is a graduate of Middlebury College (1985) and the University of Virginia School of Law (1989). He is currently a trustee and member of the investment committee of North Cross School in Roanoke, Virginia and director of the H. Gordon and Mary Smyth Foundation in Charlottesville.
