Stephen Abramson has been Chief Financial Officer of New Line Cinema Corporation since 1987. He joined New Line in 1981 and became Vice President and Treasurer in 1982.
New Line Cinema, which is part of Time Warner, is a producer and distributor of theatrical motion pictures, including such films as the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
His responsibilities include finance, human resources, and information services. Mr. Abramson was instrumental in New Line's initial public offering and was the financial point person for New Line's financing activities and New Line's sale to Turner Broadcasting System and the eventual sale to Time Warner.
Mr. Abramson graduated from the University of Michigan in 1967. After receiving his M.B.A. from Cornell University in 1970, he started work at Arthur Young & Company. |
